Cloud provides companies of all sizes to do away with the hassle of having expensive and resource consuming equipment on site.

Using cloud resources does not mean you have outsourced or transferred your Security or Risk!!!

Over the coming days I will touch on some of the areas that you need to cover to highlight the various aspects that need to be covered to secure the cloud environment you may utilise.

DATA IN TRANSIT PROTECTION

Do you have adequate protection covering the confidentiality and integrity of the data in transit from its entry point to where it resides within the cloud? Are you completely sure no one has the ability to eavesdrop or tamper with that data.

Are you confident that:

Data in transit is protected between your end user device(s) and the service?

Data in transit is protected internally within the service?

Data in transit is protected between the service and other services (e.g. where APIs are exposed)?

Need some advice or help with assessing that you have accomplished the above, then get in touch. More than happy to have a chat regarding your current cloud security
